This morning I got up bright and early with Tink and Belle. We went to see the best photographer in the DC metro area. I learned very quickly that babies grow up way too fast and it is important to take lots and lots of pictures. Even looking back at the pictures from Valentine's Day I am amazed at how much my little angels have grown. It makes me very happy and kind of sad at the same time.
Tink, as always was up for the task. Belle, on the other hand, was not into taking the pictures. I'm not exactly sure why Belle was so against takin pictures. She was well rested and she had just eaten. But anyway...we did manage to get some really cute shots of both the girls. And the photographer's daughter even joined in the shoot. I cannot wait to see the images!
I thought that after all the excitement that we would come home and Tink and Belle would go right down for their naps. Boy was I wrong. I put them down an hour ago and I can still here Tink moving around in her room. At what point do kids stop taking an afternoon nap anyway? She takes hours to fall asleep at bedtime and at naptime. Even when I know she is super tired or exhausted she still fights going to sleep. I guess I will have to look into that a little more.
Well, once the girls wake up I'm hoping it is nice enough outside to get in the pool. It has been over a week since the girls went swimming and they have been bothering me to take them. I need to work on my tan too!
